whoispedia is built to need as little of your data as possible.

What we collect

We record anonymous page views to understand what is read. IP addresses are never stored in the clear — they are one-way hashed with a daily salt, which cannot be reversed to identify you. We do not sell data or run third-party advertising trackers.

Cookies

We set a small, non-tracking cookie the first time you open a profile so that refreshing the page does not inflate its read count. It contains no personal information and expires within hours.

Information you send us

If you submit a person, a correction, or a claim, we keep what you send (such as your email and message) only to process that request.
