How profiles are built

Each biography is researched from established public reference sources and written in a single house style, with the key facts (dates, places, fields, notable work) structured and every article carrying its own list of sources.

Ranking

People are ordered by a prominence signal derived from how widely each person is documented across public sources. It is a reading-order convenience, not a judgement of worth.
